If Apple’s announcement didn’t do much for you but you still want to buy an Apple Watch, you might be in luck. Amazon reduced its balance Series 7 stock. At the moment, you can find a handful of cellular models up to $150 off. For example, the 41mm variant with a graphite stainless steel case and abyss blue sport band is currently $550, down from $699, while the 45mm model with a silver stainless steel case and a starlight sport band is $99, or $650 instead of $749.

With the Series 8 hitting stores on , you might think it’s not worth buying the older model. For what it’s worth, the Series 8 is an iterative update to its predecessor. The new features are limited to a temperature sensor, collision detection and a low-power mode that can extend the life of the notebook up to 18 hours. Those are valuable additions, sure, but there’s also something to be said for saving a little cash on some of the higher-end Series 7 models still in stock if cellular connectivity and a stainless steel case are important features for you.
